When you turn 3 and are close to being potty trained, developing fine and large motor skills, developing your language, and learning skills to enter Kindergarten you will move to the Junior Preschool room.

You will need...

Blanket
Pillow
Change of clothing
Tennis shoes for walks
Washable markers
2 glue sticks
5x7 notebook (journal)
8 pack crayons
1 box Kleenex/Puffs
Toothbrush

Leap Pad

Due to a fantastic grant, the center has an abundance of Leap Frog materials that can be checked out by parents. Please talk to the classroom teacher or any of the office staff to find out what is available to check out.

Junior Preschool Room Schedule

5:30-8:00...Arrival and Free Play

8:00-8:30...Wash hands and breakfast (refer to mealtime routines)

8:30-8:45...Toileting and hand washing

8:45-9:15...Free play

9:15-9:30...Circle time

9:30-9:45...Group activity or craft

9:45-10:00...Toileting and hand washing

10:00-11:00...Playground
(1st Tuesday on the month - Library)
(3rd Wednesday of the month - Art Center)
(Every Friday in the Summer - Water play on the playground
(Every Friday in the Winter - YMCA)

11:00-11:30...Wash hands and lunch (refer to mealtime routines)

11:30-12:00...Brushing teeth, toileting and hand washing

12:00-2:00...Nap (refer to naptime routines)

2:00-2:15...Toileting and hand washing

2:15-2:45...Snack time (refer to mealtime routines)

2:45-4:00...Free play and table activities

4:00-6:00...Playground and departure (refer to opening/closing duties)
